Overview

JMS586A is a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 to 2 ports PCIe Gen 3x2 bridge controller. The upstream port supports USB 20Gbps connectivity. The downstream port supports two PCIe Gen 3x2 ports, which can be configured to either (1) one PCIe AHCI/NVMe Gen 3x2 port, or (2) Port0 in PCIe AHCI Gen 3x2 and Port1 in PCIe NVMe Gen 3x2. They can be connected to the storage devices such as SSDs and CFexpress cards which NVMe/AHCI protocol.
